RE:Chelan Mack Bar Location
I was on chelan last year during the fourth of July. My GPS was working but my sounder was broken. ( I dont want to go back again without knowing where the mack bar is.) After the fireworks stopped the clouds rolled in and covered most of the moonlight. I had to motor back up to safety harbor I thin...

RE:Chelan Mack Bar Location
Thanks for your help, I ran across this finally after several hours of searching. I always like the directions with the visual cues. They seem to be the most accurate when describing fishing locations, they were prefected long before the internet. Depth finders are great but visual cues will never f...

There is a large no wake zone on the south side of the lake , if you are concerned stay close to the shore as you make your way over there, as always there might be A-holes that you have to watch out for.

RE:!!!!!!!! SLOW DOWN, NO WAKE SLOW THE F@#% DOWN PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!
I wade, river raft, and own a sled. There are many spots on the Snohomish where the channels are skinny, especially during low tide. There seems to be many boats anchored in the middle of the channel leaving little room to pass. Also, for the waders, generally, the outside bend of a river is the dee...

I wanted to second 2muchtq. Allot of the time I fish with people who have never driven with a trailer before. It can be intimidating to them. Usually those people are not anymore comfortable driving the boat onto or off the trailer; I end up doing it all. I show a sense of urgency and don’t appear t...

When You said that the gates open at 0600 does that mean the gates to the boat launch?
I will bring a cooler full of ice and drop it off at the launch.

RE:Pierce county trout fishing.
Sorry to hear you are getting frusturated. Many times I find that I am catching many more trout than everyone else that I am with. Doesnt matter if I am on a boat or dock. We can even be using the same bait. I believe it has to do to the fact that my leader lengths are much longer than theirs. Usual...

RE:How To Get To Boat Launch At American Lake?
The second launch is on the other side of the lake. It is a WDFW free launch. Take the Berkley Exit. (Madigan Exit) and Hang a Right. (Assuming you are Southbound I5). Go straight and follow the signs to the left at the end of the road. The Vetereans drive launch is brand new and nicer. They both ca...

RE:Camping
I just went camping at Riffe. Although the fishing wasnt that great we had a blast. As RaMcVey said there are a few spots where you can tie up on the shore. Sites 42 and 43 have direct access to a point where you can tie up your boat. There are also a couple of spots in the SMORES loop. You have to ...

My kicker has holes that allow me to drill through the kicker bracket to attach it. I have been looking for some type of locking bolts but haven't seen anything like that. Does anyone more mechanically inclined have any ideas?

FISH IDENTIFICATION
I caught this out at mineral the other day. It had red Eyes and was only about 3 inches long at the most. The photo makes it look alot bigger than it was. I think it was a smallmouth. Can anyone confirm?

Riffe Lake Help
I headed over to Riffe Lake for the first time the other day. I never realized how Deep and large it was. Ive never fished in 200 feet of freshwater before. A little overwhelming. I am going to head back soon. There is a post on the board with some tips but they were PM'd. I also want to try out my ...

If you drive up to OHOP, go another 30 min up the road to mineral. I got my first trout off of the dock when I was a young kid. They have a nice dock with a cover at the resort. No luck at the Kapowsin dock? There is always Bills Boathouse at American lake. I have always used an egg sinker, swivel, ...
