I could not find anything in the rule book that is directed towards different limits in different marine areas. Your best bet is to give wdfw a call and get an answer from them.
Fishing in Canada I would think is completely different than going from one marine area to another.

Re: Member Map??
Just my .02 but it would be just as easy to post a thread saying I'm fishing in whatever area and ask that way.. Personally I rarely respond to random PM's that doesn't relate to a posted topic on the forums.

Re: Coho flies
Sorry for the delayed response, work has been crazy. I did really well this season on 8-2 beaches but I fished almost every evening. Had to get a new catch card, no so lucky so far with fishing the rivers. I've seen quite a few fish caught but haven't been able to connect with any. Hoping to make it...

Re: Coho flies
Thanks for the info. Haven't had much time to do anything outside of working 60 hours a week hoping to be back at the vise in a few days and get a chance to hit the beaches.

Re: Proposed Rules: Snohomish, Skykomish, Wallace
I don't remember if there was a set date these would go into effect. If I remember correctly this was part of their rules "simplification" process.

Re: Too much!
Thanks! I guess I envision what it'll look like with 1 feather, it never works out and to me looks like I've put 3 feathers in there. But I've only been tying for 3 months. I have learned to limit how many different materials I pull out. If ive got stuff laying around ill manage to find a place to t...

Silver lake Everett
Is this lake fishable (fly fishing) from the bank this time of year or is it usually too crowded?

Re: Skykomish chinook
After some early morning reading I also found a good article on color choices.
http://www.salmonandsteelheadjournal.co ... on-colors/
I found it pretty informative and a good start in building a new fly box for this fishery.

Re: Skykomish chinook
Thanks for the info! Sounds like it will be challenging to target on a fly and even more so from the bank. Maybe adding a rattle to a fly could work. Something with just enough vibration to piss them off.

Re: Cutthroat
I've got to get some predator wrap, those are some awesome looking flies! I just need to convince my wife I need more material.
It's going to be a wet weekend, great weather for fishing as long as the wind stays down. I'll be out early!

Re: Cutthroat
It's been a little tough with the time change. Early morning has been best for blackmouth, got out a little later than what I wanted on sunday and wasn't ready for the short window. Bait close to the beach with a few large fish crashing thru them. By the time I got setup they were out of casting ran...

Re: Cutthroat
And I've been sticking close to home, 8-2 has been awesome since I started fly fishing in January. Lots of rezzies and 10 blackmouth ( 4 keepers) so far. Hoping for one more before the season closes.
