I have wanted to catch a salmon while out on the Columbia from the bank but I don't know what rod and reel to get. I would prefer a bait caster since that works the best for what I've seen when I've tried plunking tributaries. Thanks in advance

I am heading out to the Skook most likely this weekend on Saturday and the flow is looking to be a little over 1000 and I was not sure of that being too high for fishing this river since it is such a small river. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone that is reading this. I live in the Tacoma area and I was wondering what rivers in the area are good for steelhead and if there are rivers good for steelhead what methods and such should I use for this? Thanks for your time.
