Replacement Hook Sizes?
I am looking to replace the treble hooks on my inline spinners(Roostertails and such) with single Siwash hooks in order to comply with the "selective gear rules" on some of the lakes I'm looking into exploring. The bulk of my spinners are in the 1/8 and 1/16 oz. sizes, but I do have plans of acquiri...

RE:Is the WDFW really stocking trout???
Something similar happened at Spanaway down here in Pierce county. The day the truck came.....zero fish were caught. It took me nearly two weeks to find them and had barely a week of fun before they disappeared again. Same story with Kapowsin, Harts, and Bradley lakes.](*,) The trout fishery has bee...

RE:mossyrock campground
Hey Marty, It's been a few years since I've been down there, but as far as the mud goes..... you'll not likely sink up to your eyeballs, but it'd be highly reccomended to bring along a pair of old sneakers or cheap rubber boots to use in the boat to keep the sticky stuff from following you to your t...

RE:problem with updates?
I just reported on Spanaway.........I'm willing to bet there's just not any reports being made. I know Spanaway is deader'n'uh doornail, and have heard others in in Pierce Co. are the same way.

Hey JS, Check out Cabela's buyers' guides on fishing lines and then browse through the customer reviews on the individual brands. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/community/inthefield/fieldguides/guidebooks-story-1.jsp?hierarchyId=92&contentId=ross_lineguide_three&title=Straightening+Out+...

RE:Slip-Float Shore Fishing
Hey Guys, Thanks for the input! Much appreciated. I actually tried my theory out yesterday on Spanaway lake for a couple of hours. No takers, but they weren't cooperating for anyone else either. I suspended a tiny black feather jig(my guess would be a 1/64?) with an artificial wax worm(that new Berk...

Slip-Float Shore Fishing
Hey all, Does anyone have any experience fishing trout with a slip-bobber from a lake shore this time of year? It's probably going to be a while before I'm able to get my little port-a-boat sea-worthy and am shore bound for the time being. I don't eat fish and try to release everything I catch, but ...

RE:one crappie day
Troll? Trying to spark something up? Crap=pie? Hell'uva welcoming committee. I was just trying to humor the kid to see what he was using. I got laid-off and have some time on my hands and have'nt been fishing in about a half decade or so. And thanks Rolland! I'm gathering up my gear and plan to hit ...

Hey I'll buy it!
Were you on shore or in a boat?
How were you fishing the jig- bottom or float- and if a float....how deep?
Tip it with any bait?
Still fishing or slow retrieve?
Lemme know....I might try to hit it this week
