RE:Trout identification
I never knew what a dolly looked like in reality but now I could of swear that I caught one of these in Lake Washington. I couldn't identify it at the time and it looked funky so I released it without taking a picture. I used power eggs for fun and I said to myself, wild trout don't eat powereggs an...

RE:How many rods from shore?
I am sorry, Let me clear up myself. I was just writing in response to some posts that mentioned 2 poles. The first paragraph I wrote, I found no info in the regs poles. G-Man is correct. if you want you could haul 10 or even 20 poles to the lake. if you want the hassle. 1 line in the water at a time...

RE:How many rods from shore?
Here is what I know. You can have 2 poles with you at the lake. But, you can only use 1 at a time . A good reason for this is to have one rigged with bait and one rigged with a spoon/spinner. When you get tired of casting, pull that rod apart and put it aside. Assemble the bait rod, cast out and sit...

How long did it take you to be good at River fishing?
Just curious guys, How long did it take you to be so good at river fishing? How many years before you feel confident in your skills? I notice that some people are just gifted and could fish great with very few years under their belt. Then there is always those people that always catches the fish. I ...

RE:Corn. legal or illegal?
I know chumming is illegal in general for Washington state unless it is posted under the special rules for that specific lake. Its always good to read before you fish if you don't know the rules for the lake.

RE:steelhead question?
P-Line is some of the worst crap I've ever used. All the guides use it because it's cheap and they don't care if they have to throw it away after one use. My opinion....... Take it for what it's worth. Maxima is great line been using it for years. Try the Treasure Z, best to come out in years. I sw...

RE:steelhead question?
I am a steelhead novice. I have steelhead fished twice on the sky. I use a 9ft Berkley rod. I only hooked onto one steelhead. That one fish snapped my 12lb Berkley Vanish flourocarbon leader. Appearently my drag was sent on a little too tight and I wasn't ready for the fish. By the time I tried to a...

RE:Corn. legal or illegal?
RainbowHunter is the man. I would of never thought about blending the corn in a blender first. Less harm done to fish, disperses better in the water and the only real corn the fish sees is the one on your hook. I like it. :compress:

RE:Corn. legal or illegal?
I think using dead fish for bait has less room for error. Less explaining to the game warden.

RE:Corn. legal or illegal?
Thanks guys for clearing that up. I have always ruled out corn as an option because of this one guy's remark. I am not a person who breaks rules and I hate it when I see people break them. I always read the regs. I am asking because I never found any information stating it to be illegal. I just didn...

Corn. legal or illegal?
I have not used corn but I was told by a fisherman that the use of corn is illegal. He told me that the fish can't digest it and that the fish die after eating it. But, I read about people on here that using corn all the time and it seems perfectly fine. I have not found any supporting information t...
