Beaver or Pine for bank fishing with kids?
This weekend is the free fishing weekend. I will be taking out a couple of families for a picnic and fishing. From what I see it looks like Beaver or Pine Lake will be the best. Any thoughts on which is better. While yes catching fish is important just as important or more important is to have a pic...

Can anyone point me to a place where it outlines when fishing is best/allowed at what time of year? I grew up doing a lot of trout fishing and I am now trying to land ideally salmon or steel head and I seem to struggle with when I should be where. I can't get out as much as I would like and need to ...

Best Bet for Thanksgiving Weekend
Looks like the weather will be good Sat/Sun over the long weekend. I am still in learning stage and would welcome ideas for the upcoming weekend. Ideal would be landing some Coho. Here are some of my thoughts... Snoqualmie - I live in Snoqualmie and wondering when the Steelhead will be showing up. S...

Re: Barrier Dam bank fishing advice
And not sure if this is the right place to ask, but what are the thoughts on cleaning fish at the river. I have always been under the impression that you do not clean your fish at the river. Although there seemed to be so many people doing it and so much discarded fish around that you would think it...

Re: Barrier Dam bank fishing advice
Well I bit the bullet and headed out to Barrier Dam. All times are before time change since I refused to switch time until after fishing. Left home at 3:30AM and arrived barrier dam @ 5:30AM. Foggy Dark, but darn glad I got there so early. Got a great spot. First time I have really ever fished here ...

Re: Barrier Dam bank fishing advice
schu7498, My thoughts exactly just hard to get a day off work. I was also thinking that maybe heading down in the afternoon and sticking it out until the end might work. One of the problems with showing up to a new place before sunrise is not knowing exactly where to go and not being able to see whe...

Barrier Dam bank fishing advice
Guys, I am getting desperate. I have been skunked all season so far. I usually fish the Snohomish. Went up to Wallace River on Sunday and water was high and to many guys fighting for too few places to fish. I am thinking about finally breaking down and heading to Barrier Damn. The stories of the cro...

Still learning...tell me how to fish all this rain?
Finally got off my butt this year and I am going after the fall Coho. Have been out about a half dozen times and have only seen two fish caught and had one one myself for a short brief period. Mostly fishing the Snohomish, but both caught fish were out on Whidbey Island. Bottom line I keep reading t...

Fish nets are out in Elliott Bay, Good for Duwamish?
Is this an indicator that we should finally see some fish moving into the Duwamish and other rivers?

Re: Any helpful info??
New guy here....This will be first year trying the Snohomish for Coho. I am going out on Sunday to try my luck and if nothing else just check things out. It sounds like Thomas eddy is a good spot for bank fishing. Also thinking I will get out there about 7AM to make sure I get there before the crowd...
