I agree with Fish On!, the rule is uninforcable. I use bait frequently with barbless hooks with the intention of landing the large fish and letting the smalller ones shake it free, we all know that slack lines let the fish off. If you're in the mood for a bit of a drive, try down at Central Ferry on the Snake River. I have caught a few channels that were in the teens right off the bank near the grain silos. Also have seen some big ones come out of Spargue and some smaller ones out of Chapman.

I couple a power egg (any color) with a bit of worm and fish off the bottom. The egg floats the worm off the bottom and is more durable than a marshmellow. The worm is there for some protien. Trout love it.

Hey Rozman- When I moved to Pullman, which is 75 miles south of Spokane, I found out the hard way that good fishing means driving north.
