We had a crazy number of them in our place this year.
I'd open a cupboard and 4 or 5 would appear from seemingly nowhere.
I tried hanging fly paper but those crafty buggers would land on it and chill for a while, and then just fly away.

Salmon Fishing near Edmonds?
While I'm not sure this is a very reasonable thing to ask...
I'm looking for someone with a boat who shoves off from the Edmonds Marina area that wouldn't mind spending some time with an otherwise boatless fisherman and possibly hooking into some fish.
I can bring snacks! And beer!
Thanks!

Stocking Lakes in BC by air
So in my native British Columbia they have started stocking many inaccessible lakes from helicopters while hovering around 10 feet above the surface. Apparently a total of around 120,000 rainbow trout are being released into 40 lakes this way. http://www.gofishbc.com/docs/clearwaterairlibfall2008.pd...

RE:Knots for attaching Leader to Fly Line
This website is pretty handy for different types of knots.
The one I was mentioning above is called a "Needle Knot".

RE:Knots for attaching Leader to Fly Line
Cool, the knot I was mentioning is just like a nail knot, except with the leader thread up through the end of the fly line by a needle so that it will have an even lower profile and not get caught up on your rod's eyelets.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Knots for attaching Leader to Fly Line
Hey guys,
I have seen a few different knots used to attach Leader to Fly Line, though don't know their names.
One even involves using a pin to thread the Leader up through the tip of the Fly Line before wrapping it back and finishing it with nail polish to hold it tight.
Which do you use?

RE:Right/Left Handed Retrieval
I went down to Outdoor Emporium near Safeco field and one of the helpful staff showed me how easy it is to reverse the retrieval of my new reel. Once the spool was removed, the one screw holding the central gear to the back of the spool was removed and then gear was flipped over and screwed back in ...

RE:Right/Left Handed Retrieval
Most reels these days are set up to change for L/R or R/L. Many of the older reels were not. What reel are you speaking of? Sorry, I just ended my sentence with a preposition. Hey Joe, thanks for the reply. It's a cheap-o Martin reel - I think this is it http://www.martinfishing.com/catalog/MB_reel...

Right/Left Handed Retrieval
Hey guys,
Are all fly reels able to change from left to right handed retrieval?
I bought a new reel and it's setup for left-handed reeling, but I prefer right-handed.
Thanks!

Yeah I have no objections to finding a nice river to toss my line out into.quadradomus wrote:but mostly it will be rivers and salt water beaches for cutthroat and silvers.
Would actually prefer it on most days.
Thanks!

Hey, I'm near Carkeek Park.
Looking for somewhere within half an hour or an hour to drive or hike into. Don't have a boat or float tube on me though, so would need a bit of shore to cast out my line.
Thanks!
