Northwest Fishing Reports

I'm heading to the Nestucca river in Oregon this Friday through Sunday for steelhead. Thought I'd check in to see if anyone has ever fished this river and knows anything about it.

Nope. Backside is touching water and the rule says may not be "totally" removed. Or if you like i could say i caught it in russia or something. Danny I didn't think it was legal to pull that fish out of the water if it was a C&L. Am I missing something here?

Another great read is "Steelhead Fishing Essentials" by Marc Davis. It also includes a very well done DVD all for $29! I am not a "reader" and I could not put this book down and went straight into the DVD.

Has anyone heard anything more on this. Is PUD still going forward with this dam?

The only reason I suggested it was because I got my answer. I've been on other forms (Mini Cooper forms ) where they liked to tidy up by removing posts that had been answered or had no action on them for some time. Didn't know if it was like that here or not. Just a suggestion.

Keep an eye on craigslist and not just in the for sale posts. A lot of thieves will post under the barder section looking to trade the items they steal so thy have a none stollen item to sale. I'm always on there so I'll keep an eye open.

I propose that we all get together and invest in security cameras for our fishing spots that are prone to break ins. We will form a group, and post signs informing tweakers of the fact that they are being filmed, and when a break-in does occur, we'll have a phone number for the person in charge of ...

Hit the banks of the snohomish at the 522 bridge yesterday around 2pm. Only a few anglers out with me. landed a 10lb silver within 20 min. fished till 4:30 and called it a good day!
