Re: 39 County Trophy Quest! Starts 4/2022

Good luck! I am trying the same thing but I am not as restrictive as you. I am going for any fish, no matter what size, in each county. So far I have 21 counties done and will be hitting 3 counties in Eastern WA later this month. I would only have 2 counties if I used your parameters. That's awesom...

Re: Washington Musky Challenge

That's awesome man!! How much gas money do I owe you lol The journey IS the adventure! Let's face it, catching the fish is great but the first thing I missed when mine ended was the scenery rolling by. I've revisited a couple of my favorite stops already. Sure is a cool way to explore and discover c...

Re: Bass food options in Westside urban lakes

I fished a lake for 10 years before I saw a sculpin or catfish in the thing. Everything that swims in a lake will eat a nightcrawler! Great research tool. A 2lb bass will eat a 6 inch stocker trout. Smaller than 2 and there's always bugs on or just about the water. Just slows the growth rate. A 5lbe...

Re: Bass food options in Westside urban lakes

Bobber and nightcrawler the lakes and see what you catch. There's always a forage base. Go there at night and listen for frogs. Just because you can't 'see' them doesn't mean they aren't there.

Re: New to Fishing.

Is there a specific species you would like to catch? Bobber and worm if not. That's how I started as a kid and the rig catches everything that swims.

Re: Beaver Lake question

This can vary by city and county as well! The specific ordinance should be posted as an RCW at the lake. Research that. Some places are "not attached", other places are "raised and bagged". Call the local WDFW district and City Hall, they should be able to clarify more specifically and or point you ...

Re: Mid season tips?

I would not even pretend to know my way around walleyes. I usually catch them on accident while bass fishing and I would dang near rather set myself on fire than 'troll' for any species of fish so I have never truly targeted them lol Bank fishing for them would be difficult, not impossible, but toug...

Re: Mid season tips?

I'll be at the Potholes around the 27th as I fish my way back from Pend Oreille County / Spokane area lakes. I always enjoy a trip east! Was up north this past week and the magic depth for smallies was twelve feet. Cover was wood, rocks or weed edges, baits were spinnerbait, DT10 crankbait, lipless ...

Re: Mid season tips?

Smallies are scattered right now but 30 feet has been consistent with a drop shot.

Largies, target outside weed edges with Senkos.

So much depends on the type of water you're fishing?? I'm catching largemouth in a foot of water on some lakes and twenty feet on others.

Re: Bass fishing guides reccomendation

If you go to Banks in two weeks, the last thing on earth you would need is a guide [laugh] [thumbsup] lol

Check with Mardon resort at the Potholes, I'm sure they know someone. You may also try to be a non-boater in some club tournaments over there?

Good luck! :salut:
