What is the best way to ink them out and then prepare them for cooking? I have never done any Squidding and in fact I cannot even find anyone on N. Whidbey that even knows where to go? How deep off the docks? What color of light works best? I see lures (jigs) for sale in lots of colors and styles.....

Been seeing them too! That's the stretch of the river I'm closest too. About a week or two ago I saw them just starting to show up near west valley in Renton. Then just started seeing them at the footbridge at Issac Evens too but that's not open, till the 16th I think. Good luck man,

I don't bass fish but I live next to North Lake in Federal Way. Seen some reports of decent bass outta there, it is a real small lake with lots of weed beds and Lilly pads.
