I'm wondering if anyone has done a self-guided fishing adventure to Petersburg, AK. I am planning a trip for my Dad's 60th Bday, he is a long-time outdoorsman, and a bucket list item to fish in AK. We are fitted up with a self-guide Lodge up there, and wondering if anyone has any advice, or has been...

If anyone is selling a 10gauge shotgun, I am looking. I want to reach a little further out during waterfowl season to touch the birds.

I found almost the exact same set up last year on the Green River! I got snagged on them and ended up pulling three lures with trebble hooks out of the water, all on the same line... connected some how...It was badly rigged.

I agree...I've have more success tossing a rigged worm on a hook in thick veggies on ta lake. A frog can work too, they do go after it, and its a lot of fun when they do!

One in the truck, one with the magizines in the front room, and a PDF file on the computer. Still waiting for the new Regs however. I too will print pages out when I go to a new area, just so I know the regs there well.

I'm going golfing....fish a few golf balls out the ponds...don't matter when you go, fishing in washington for the most part is year round....opening day is good for them seasonal'ers.
