Northwest Fishing Reports

So I live in a condo right next to the sammamish River, I can see it from my living room. Never tried fishing it. I'm aware that all fishing is selective gear rules and trout is catch and release. Anyone know why there's no salmon fishery here? I'm asking this because all of a sudden fish are jumpi...

Age old question for people on this forum that seem to be fishing quite a bit more than me (envious!). I guess anything to piss off the salmon...may not work for trout.

What was your setup? The easiest and cheapest way is to use the hootchie jigs (see my thread about the cheapest lure).

Also make sure you time it correctly...most of September should be good.

Hope you can catch some this year.

Look on Ebay. You can buy large quantities of 3/8 oz jig heads and pink hoochies (separately), which in total will come out to less than $1 each. I just saw 50 jigs for $7.
