Totally ok. I'm (unfortunately) in the same boat as I was when I originally made this post. Not very experienced in salmon fishing.

I didn't wind up fishing for steelhead yet... was pretty busy on local lakes. I hear the humpies will be running good this year. I have yet to go salmon fishing. *pout*
