Re: Smoker opinions....
I have used a Bradley electric smoker for the past 12-14 years. It has always worked fine for fish but I smoke about 150 lbs of meat per year and the Bradley just doesn't do a very good job. It only has a 500 watt heating element so it not only takes 12-14 hours to bring a batch of sausage up to 152...

Re: Constitutionality of watercraft inspection stations
Do you think you have the constitutional right to spread invasive species from waterway to waterway? Just because people think they have the "RIGHT" to do something does not mean it is the right thing to do! Shripmjuice only a foolish person would think that trying to keep from spreading invasive sp...

Re: Lake chelan
Plenty of ramp and water to launch your boat at Mill Bay, you should check out a couple of maps, there are a couple rock piles not far from the end of the docks, easy to avoid if you know they are there. You can also launch in town just below the high school, great launch.

Re: Anybody familiar w/fishing Kettle Falls/Roosevelt?
We fished out of Kettle Falls National Park last Thursday. We boated up to Evans and trolled for walleye all the back to the park, we fished both sides of the rive, six hours and only one bite, no hook up. Any water less than 30' deep was filled with milfoil and moss. We have a sturgeon trip booked ...

Re: WDFW closes sportfishing statewide
Read on another forum that two guys fishing Lake Chelan yesterday got a visit from the game agents, on yet another forum there was a guy saying he was fishing today from Spring Canyon (Lake Roosevelt) and he made the comment "Come Get Me". These are the kind of people that will be responsible for th...

Re: 2nd day Banks lake chain winter trout bank fishing
The bodies of water from Lake Roosevelt to Potholes have different names and some have different regulations. It's not proper to lump them all into one group. Nobody expects you to share your "spot", but if you were fishing Lake Roosevelt then the fish pictured in your video are illegal, some of the...

Re: 2nd day Banks lake chain winter trout bank fishing
What do you mean by "Banks Lake chain". I live at Banks Lake and by looking at the back ground in your video it does not appear to be Banks Lake. It seems your videos show a lot of just looking down at the beach rather than showing your surroundings. I'm not trying to criticize by any means, just lo...

If you are launching at Seaton launch run down river a couple miles, you will find an island. Fish the south shore line in the slack water right on the bottom. Another spot that has been good for us is down river a little ways there is a large rock sticking out of the water near the north shore. Sta...

Re: BUILDING A FISHING FARM POND
Questions like you are asking might be better asked some place other than a public forum, If state and federal agencies get word of you building a fish pond the permit process could take years to complete. You will have to prove where you are getting the water from to fill your pond and where your r...

Re: Sponsors hurting site
Just curious Aaron, if there are no pop up banners in use then what are the advertisements that keep blinking on and off (one on the bottom and one on each side of the page) as I am trying to view a page? If they are not for your adds maybe you could tell me how I can get rid of them. Thanks

Congrats, we love our Hewes Sportsman. We upgraded to the 115 Yamaha and 9.9 Yamaha kicker, I had a steering rod installed so I do all steering is from up front, I also enjoy the Itroll system and the wash down pump. I put side bunks on the trailer it makes loading a breeze even in the wind. Hope yo...

Re: Sprague Lake Questions
We troll #7 Flicker Shad all the time. We attach it to a swivel on the the main mono line (no leader) set back about 100' -130' and troll about 2-3 mph. With that set back you should be fishing about 12-15 foot deep. Watch your electronics because Sprague lake is only about 19-20 foot deep in the de...

Al, hopefully all is well with you and all yours and if you are selling such a great fishing machine that it is just working toward an upgrade. When we get back from Arizona in the spring I would truly enjoy getting together with you folks for a fishing trip.

I am a life long Garmin fan. My current unit is the 741xs and the TM 150 transducer, this unit has served me well for the past 6 years, I just take advantage of the free updates. I did a lot of research before buying the 741 and the one piece of advise I would read over and over was that even if you...
