Re: westport camping?
Thanks guys, just booked a campsite at twin harbors. I'll probably fish all sorts of stuff, hopefully catch a few. My expectations aren't too high as I know the jetty sees a lot of fishing pressure but hey, a two hour drive from seattle will make it a fun weekend trip!

westport camping?
Hey guys, I'm gonna join the masses in a couple weeks and go check out the Westport jetty. just looking for some advice on where to camp? I don't really care how close it is to the jetty as long as we're within about a half hour ish. I'd rather have to make a little longer drive if its a cheaper and...

Neah Bay Trip
Hey guys...I've got a Neah bay trip planned here in a couple weeks and I can't wait! But before I get out there, I have a few questions...does anyone know how steep the ramp is at big salmon resort? Also, are there any other campgrounds in neah bay besides the hobucks one? I'd like to tow the boat b...

Baker Lake
So I'm gonna be going camping up at baker the 27th-29th of August and I haven't been up there in forever. I'm kind of assuming that sockeye will be closed by then...am I right? If so, what else should I try for?

RE:I've Been Flocked!!
Thats cool you got flocked! I actually did that fundraiser for younglife last year to help send me to a summer camp. It is a really great fundraiser and every person that we sent the flamingos to, really loved them and was very generous about donating. Its a little stressful sneaking around and putt...

RE:Kayak in th Wind
considering the boat was found with a bunch of silt in it and geting knocked against the rocks...the owner probably has no idea where it is and so leaving it there would have done no good at all. reelman definitely has done the right thing. theres no way the owner ever would have found that...

New Bottom Fishing Regs
Hey so a few days ago I read the new changes to the regs for bottom fishing, I fish mainly just in area 7 so I'm not sure about the rules for other areas but for area 7, you now won't be able to keep any rockfish, you won't be able to fish deeper than 120 feet, and the new slot for lingcod is 26 to ...

RE:Smoked Trout
i love smoked trout. more than smoked salmon even. i think its because the trout i smoke (stockers 10-14") are pretty thin so the meat gets a little more jerky like.

RE:Help me cook my Ling Cod & Rock Fish
bottom fish are definitely best deep fried! (in my opinion at least) but you dont need a deep fryer. just get a fryin pan and put about a half inch of oil in there and get it really hot and your good to go!

RE:Rod and Reel recommendations
Last year, I purchased a fenwick Eagle GT, Ultra Light, 6'6 action, and this year i got a 6' light action fenwick HMX, both rods are plenty big enough to handle four and five pound cutthroat, and they make it a lot fun too. if i were you, i would go with the lightest action rod possible. So, it depe...
