18 Starcraft Holliday

SAM_2342.JPG I'm selling my StarCraft 18' Holiday you have seen in many reports here at Northwest Fishing Reports. It's an oldie but goodie! Here is a list of what I have done to the boat: 90hp Evinrude E-Tec with 400 hours on new 2013 factory power head, Stainless prop, new floors with vinyl, new ...

Re: Trailers: Bunk v. Roller

I switched my 18' StarCraft aluminum from a roller to bunk trailer last fall. I think each trailer has advantages but I like power loading the bunk trailer. An electric winch is a HUGE help on the roller trailer. By the way I have a 18' EZ loader trailer with rollers and LED lights for sale $500 Wh...

Re: Raider Boats

Wow nice boat! Raider makes some nice 18 to 19 foot boats with soft tops that should be easy to handle. Recovery from heart surgery takes time, believe me I know! I have a company ifishsolutions if I can be of help in the process.

Re: Sonar interfernce on Lake Chelan

I have found using the 83 kh setting really helps on Chelan. The sonar MUST lock on the bottom for the sonar unit to work. Hope that helps - Alan

Re: Fish Finder GPS Transducer

You need to find out what the maxim depth is where you intend to fish. The sonar unit MUST be able to lock on the bottom to work. Let the pros help with the selection of a unit that will do the job in the salt.

Re: How important is Shoe peg corn?

I have used shoepeg for a long time. I have found that different scents work better on some lakes. For example I use a different scent for Roosevelt than for Loon Lake here in Eastern Washington. All of that said Berkley Gulp Maggots seem to work just fine too on some days. I only "cure" a half can ...

Re: Non Ethanol users?

I run a Evinrude E-Tec and a Yamaha T8. All of my fuel system in the old Satrcraft has been upgraded to the ethanol compliant product. Evinrude recommends the use of 2 plus 4 fuel treatment. I have used it for years in ethanol fuel. I treat every drop, year around. No issues, works for me.

Bass, perch and crappie as the water warms. Summer night fishing Loon kokanee. Early fall king salmon and sockeye in the ...

I too have blown up an Okuma. The Shimano Tekota is awesome for the salmon. Silky smooth drag makes a big difference on landing the spunky salmon. Money well spent!
