Re: Mukilteo boat ramp
The ramps are there year around lol.....I was down there last week and the docks were still sitting in the parking lot. I would assume you could call Mukilteo Public Works and ask them when they will be set in the water.

Re: Wenatchee
There is also Alta, Curlew, and Concunelly just north of there. I grew up with my dad taking me to Jameson (as mentioned above) and it was always lights out for trout. But I believe they had a kill off a few years ago and had to replant. If you want to travel further South then there is the pot holes.

End of an Era
I just read the Port of Edmonds new letter and it mentions that Bud's Bait will be going out of business as of January 16th. Not so much going out of business as Bud is Retiring. Sad to see him go and also want to thank him for his 50+ years supporting us fishermen out of Edmonds. Hopefully someone ...

Hello everyone that is reading this. I live in the Tacoma area and I was wondering what rivers in the area are good for steelhead and if there are rivers good for steelhead what methods and such should I use for this? Thanks for your time. -----Drifting The NorthWest When in doubt call your local W...

Yes, they were selling both at the Tulalip Exit as well for several weeks.18ftTrophy wrote:That's pretty funny, since I drove by a tribe store selling both king and coho salmon off hi-way 20 east of I-5.

Re: Warm water "Blob" is gone!
If that is true and no reason to doubt it then I think that is great news. For one it pushes the tuna fishery out and further south which will mean less competition for bait fish.

Re: Crabbing off Westport Jetty
I have tried that with the butterfly trap off the jetty and it is a pain in the a$$. Why not look at one of the finger jetty's near the marina? I had better success off the walkway at the Marina entry (on the bay side of course). While the marina gets hit hard with crabbers there is always a fresh s...

Lake Goodwin
We will be camping at Wenberg in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if there what type of fishery will be going on at that time. I am not much of a bass fisherman so other pan fish would be fine. I am assuming trout is pretty much over by now. Just looking for any ideas or where to fish on the la...

Re: Sturgeon fishing below Wanapum Dam
There is no markings for hatchery sturgeon. The WDFW Director was on either GPS Outdoors or NW Wild Country (I don't recall which show) just before the opener and said you just keep the ones legal size. They also don't need to go on your catch card for those two areas. The fish are 10+ years old and...

Quad,
Yeah it was like asking how much for an oil change and the guy telling you your oil pump is bad and valves need replaced.

Re: North of Seattle Marine Mechanics
@Thor - Thanks I will check these guys out at well. @Quad - My initial dealing with Lynwood Marine left a dirty taste in my mouth. I went there about a week ago just to ask a question. I talked to a guy probably in his thirties. I just ask him roughly how much is would cost to do a tune-up and adjus...

Re: No salmon fishing in PUget Sound?
"Tribal treaty fisheries are essential to the tribes’ subsistence, economy, and culture and way of life. The spring chinook fishery in particular is important to the treaty tribes because it is the first run of salmon to return for the season." I am so sick of the Tribes for using the above statemen...

Re: No salmon fishing in PUget Sound?
It's time!!! It is time for the Northwest Sport Fishermen stand up and fight back!!!! We have no voice currently in Olympia. The WDFW can only due so much. Their fight is more about keeping their jobs then it is about sport fishermen's rights. No fish, no licenses, no funds, means no pay for WDFW. I...

Re: North of Seattle Marine Mechanics
Quad....You know what I always forget about these guys. They are just not in an area you would expect a marine dealer. I will have to look them up. Performance Marine is hit or miss and they take forever to get anything done. I didn't have any luck with Bayside Marine with my other boat even though ...

North of Seattle Marine Mechanics
I am a first time large outboard owner. I recently bought a boat with a 1990 Mercury 100. I am looking for a good Mercury mechanic North of Seattle and lets say South of Arlington. I just need a good tune up and servicing of the motor for now. When I had my inboard it took several tries (the hard wa...
