There is no rain in the forecast until Oct 31st .... and that one doesn't even look so serious... we will be catching silvers on Christmas if there is another batch of fish waiting in the salt ;)

Thanks guys. I actually ended up at the Wallace on Sunday and caught a couple of fire trucks on chartreuse yarn. They didn't seem to be very picky even though the water was sooooooo low.

I just recently moved here to WA and was wondering about the sockeye salmon fishing in lake Washington. When does it start? Do I need a boat or can I fish from the shore? What is a good setup to fish with either from shore or boat?

Does anyone know how the bank looks like around the mouth of the wallace? Is it flooded or good access with waders? I've never been down there but planning on going there on Saturday. Is it better to walk down to the bridge on the tracks or to walk on the shore of the river?
