Re: The great C and R debate
Hello, I thought I would make my one contribution to the discussion here. I am the perpetrating bass murderer who started the idea of a discussion after someone rudely intruded upon my fishing report. Let me start with saying I have no regrets harvesting one largemouth bass in almost twenty years of...

Re: Anybody know what these are?
Heck just about any fish will eat fish eggs (whether they are from a salmon or not) and the Peamouth is a native fish. At any rate it's definitely some sort of chub. I'll stick with my original suggestions.

Re: Anybody know what these are?
The bottom one is not the Pikeminnow. It is a Peamouth Chub. The size of the mouth is one of the easiest distinctions between them. The Peamouth is not supposed to be bad for the salmon and trout fry and is probably worth releasing.

Re: Non Level Wind question
CharkBait.com will put 300yds of braid on the left handed Avet reels for free and also provide free shipping. I have no association to CharkBait but I know a good deal when I see one.

Re: Non Level Wind question
For deep water hauls you might want to consider the gear ratio. Probably a 4 to 1 or so is good. Avet reels are nice but as you know they don't make a levelwind. The levelwind is good if you don't like to move your thumb on the line to keep it even on the reel as it comes in. There are some other do...

Re: Hey Guys!
THANK YOU for finally providing a fix on the menu. While some users might be annoyed the fact is they probably don't understand the impact of touch screen devices which can now actually get into some of the core areas of the website without a lot of effort and obstructions. I visit from my phone and...

Re: Fishing Lake Sammamish from canoe or yak
No, I don't have any downriggers. I think people use things like Deep Six Diver for that sort of thing from a small craft. As of today I have not mounted the sonar yet but I have most of the setup ready so that will come together in the next few weeks.

Fishing Lake Sammamish from canoe or yak
Hi, I am mostly looking to fish Sammamish (or Washington when the conditions are good) this spring. I have a Nucanoe Frontier that's 12 foot and seats two. I am not a very good angler but I do catch fish and would like to meet some cool people and learn more about Sammamish. I have a fair bit of spa...

Re: Battery - Which one is best for my setup?
Thank you. I was getting the impression group size had to do with the physical size of the battery like you mentioned and was not certain about it and if it also implied a performance measurement. I'll take the motor or owners manual over and get a deep cycle battery when I get some spare cash. Do y...

Battery - Which one is best for my setup?
Hi, I have a 55lb thrust trolling motor which I just picked up. I also was able to get a fish finder with it... I am looking to get the correct battery for my setup. Otherwise the most ideal, if not the "correct" battery. I will be using this motor to push a canoe around and would like to get as muc...
