Re: Watch what you say online - expose on treaty negotiation
What a completely biased article. This was obviously written by someone looking to write a story and get some attention. There are always people who say things that should not be said on the internet. This article seemed to basically try to portray every sports angler as a racist POS. I hate when wr...

Re: That's gonna leave a mark!.... WDFW announces Lake clos
The reason to keep these warm water fisheries closed is to not give the natives ammunition to argue for gillnetting. We close down then we make them close down simple. Angler equality right? Be the change you hope to see in the world is the tactic. Wow! Woo! You seem to be a very opinionated guy af...

Re: Low profile baitcasting reel
I am presently looking to start off with a nice used shimano curado cu201 that seems to be in great shape. Then I will look at possibly saving up for something newer like a newer curado or the Chronarch. If you get a good used Curado, there is no need to save up for a newer one to replace it. They'...

Puget sound steelhead
Write and let them know what you think. Hopefully they won't go with option one. Hopefully option 2 or 4. It would be interesting to see what the native brood stock hatchery would produce. http://www.westcoast.fisheries.noaa.gov/hatcheries/pshatcheries/ps_ews_deis.html" onclick="window.open(this.hre...

Re: Norman Hole on the Stilly. No Trespassing?
I talked to the land owner a couple weeks ago. There is no more access. They were having break ins to the houses in the area and it really spooked the neighborhood. He was really nice and apologetic that he had to close it. If a land owner wants to close access that's their right. But I'm not seein...

Re: Sky too low to drift?
I'll say this. I did the same float a week ago at similar flows and we could do it, but it took us forever because I had to row my but off. There is vey little current and if you want to fish it efficiently you will be on the river all day. Not necessarily a bad thing just letting you know.

Has anyone asked why the limit on the stilly is only 2 salmon? Every other year the pinks are running it's been 2 salmon plus an additional 2 pinks.

They are almost always catching fish at the cowlitz. Most bank fishermen are floating jigs. Bring some prawns and try tipping your jig with a small piece of prawn. Good luck.

It's all about the right action with both jigs and dick nites. Change it up until you start getting bites. Jigs are easier to use out of a boat!
