i have tried 3 times this week for coho on the sky with my 7wt. No silvers but did get a couple pinks they are in the lower sky thick right now.

caught my first pike ever, i was fly fishing for trout in the Yukon. got it on a 4 weight rod and 6 lb test.

you may be stretching a hour and a half here but I would look into deep lake at sun lakes state park. there are some big fish in that lake if you troll deep in the canyon and the bowl at the end of the lake has some decent Kokanee fishing.

i am all good she has no problems with me getting some fishing in, its just the 3+ times a week she frowns on. I am completely happy with a weekly outing (we both go). if only my job could be fly fishing..
