Re: Been a while...

Thanks! I really love it here made some trips to Neb and got 20 pike a day up to 28" it was a blast. There are a good number of walleye and cats around. The trout is the main deal but the river running through town kicks out huge browns and a few nice bows as well [thumbup]

Re: How to properly sharpen an ice auger?

I sharpen everything also. EXCEPT MY AUGER BLADES!!!! It is worth it to find someone who is set up and has done it many times. I carry a file and will touch up blades on the ice but when I get them back from the sharpener they cut 20 times better. I pay $12.50 to get mine done here but I think I get...

RE:Good spinners or spoons for bluegill?

While at the pet store grab some wax worms I have had tremendous luck for panfish using them on a small 1/32 oz jig head. I fish them under trees if there are any available.

RE:Roosevelt Walleye

The best tip i have gotten on finding and catching eyes is fishing leeches. I fish WY but I hear leeches are walleye candy. The fish over here are in close relating to brush and flats I wouldn't fish deeper then 15" right now. Crankbaits and twister tail jigs are also very productive.

I usually fish carp with size 2 snell hooks and big ole crawlers. I have found that worm oil works great to add to the crawlers! Since being in wyoming I have caught them on leeches and minnows fishing for walleye...
