RE:WL.com Bass Trophy Board 2008

7lb 1 oz. trophy of a lifetime. Looks like a smallmouth, but sure sounds like a largemouth. Caught 6/22 at a secret lake in puyallup. Trophy reports looked kind of slow lately, so I figured I'd give something new to look at.

RE:Kapowsin on sunday

2 more words of advice: GO SLOW. There are stumps almost everywhere, and lots just below the surface that you can't see. If you use the public launch at the north end of the lake off of Kapowsin Highway, watch out for the stump near the end of the dock. It used to be marked, but someone ripped the m...

RE:P-Line

I hate rebates too, but it takes a little heat off when I come home with $200 worth of fishing "crap", as my wife calls it, and I can tell her I've got $30 worth of rebates. For some reason that I don't understand, that makes it ok. If I went out and spent $170 and got no rebates, she'd still get on...

P-Line

Just wanted to let people that use P-Line know that through June 30, there's a mail in rebate of $6 when you buy 2 spools that are at least 150 yds. Not a bad deal considering you basically get one for half price after the rebate. I just stocked up yesterday at Auburn Sports and they had the rebate ...

RE:Members Boats

Here's mine: 2007 NX750 with 90 optimax. My lovely wife surprised me with it on my birthday. Now if I could just get her to shorten the honey-do list a little so I had some more time to use it.

RE:Fillet Knives

I've always used Dexter-Russell knives. They'll run between $15 and $25, but I don't know of anyone around here that carries them so you'd have to go to their website www.dexter-russell.com. The non stainless steel knives, which are the ones with the wood handles, are the way to go. They sharpen a l...

RE:NEW MEMBERS - INTRODUCE YOURSELF!

Name: Rick Location: Puyallup Age: 36 I moved out here from New Jersey about 4 years ago. Here I fish mostly for bass, but I also get in some salmon and trout fishing as well. While back in Jersey, I fished more saltwater than freshwater, but I still got in about 30 freshwater trips a year, mostly f...

RE:new to WL.com - open back seat

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. Hopefully I'll get to the PM's soon. Unfortunately work's gotten a little crazy this week, so I haven't had much time for anything but work and sleep, but I will get back to everyone. Thanks again and I look forward to fishing with you guys.

new to WL.com - open back seat

Hi all. I'm new to the forum and wanted to put it out there that I've usually got an open back seat. I moved out here from New Jersey about 4 years ago and until last spring fished a few of the puyallup area ponds until I got my boat last spring. I've got a Nitro 750 NX, so it's not the biggest boat...
