Northwest Fishing Reports

Was out last Sunday. Ice was about 5 or six inches. Fishing was great between 1:30 - 3:00. Road was good ( i drive a 2wd ford ranger);however, I parked at the top of the last hill. Few people parked at the bottom though.

Handled the eight or so inches that day no problem... probably wouldn't try it with an ice base though. That last hill appears to be a dozzy in the wrong condition. But can't see the rest of the way ever being so bad.

Anyone heading out there tomorrow ?

I also was at Jerry's... maybe 200 yards out... I was dead sticking a white trout magnet tipped with a maggot... while jigging a Swedish pimple tipped with a white curly-tail. I didn't get there until 2:30 or so. So I have a question, and it may be the reason why my day was lame. So I went to Eloiki...

Yeah I am in the middle of both... So went to hogs and got skunked... went home took a nap.... got pissed about the skunk so went to Elokia, lol. Hopefully next Saturday will be more productive, thinking about Fourth of July.

Caught a couple skunks at Hog and Elokia today... sad weekend.

Anyone ever taken a 2 wd 4 cyl. pick-um-up truck down the Hog canyon road in 12 inches of snow ?

Hey all. Went to Hog this morning. Caught 7 in four hours. All over 17 inches. Caught 4 on a craw fish shaped trout magnet tipped with a white grub.
