I've only caught crappie with those

Here is a second pic of the fish I posted earlier. It is closer up.

Here are those pics that I said I would post. Sorry I'm so late on this. I caught this fish in Lacamas lake 2 lbs 2 oz. Take note of the red marking under his side fin.

I caught another bass with one of these markings on Monday. I have the pic on a microSD from my camera phone so I need to borrow my freinds thumb drive so that i can post it.

Fished there 3 weeks in a row now. In each trip Ive caught at least 3 decent bass (all 2 lbs +). If I were you, I would circle the lake fishing the fallen down trees and logs in the water. The fish tend to hide around them on sunny days to escape the sun. I havent had much luck in the lily pads but ...

Anyone every tried cutting your senko up like on the following youtube video? It looks like a sweet idea when the fishing is slow.

Unless the ponds you are finding are already known to hold crappie or unless they are located near the columbia river(introduced by flooding), its doubtful that they would have crappie in them.

For the chanel cats I used chicken livers and for the bullheads it was the worms that did the trick. I've been fishing at kress for 10 years or so and have only caught 1 crappie in it. If you enjoy fishing for panfish, the lake is loaded with bluegill.

Many of the larger bass that I pull in have what appear to be red scabs or scars on them. Does anyone know where they come from?

Other fish?
Natural processes?

Try lacamas lake. I took a 1 hr long break from bass fishing there last week and caught around 10 crappie. I found that feather jigs worked the best. I'll try posting the pics of crappies next time I go there.

Try setting up a wacky rig with a senko while dropshotting. You do that by hooking the senko in the middle so that it is horizontal in the in the water. Senkos will wobble even with the slightest rod movement and this really attracts the bass.

The SE corner of Klineline is loaded with bluegill. Most people pass them up for the trout fishing though.
