I make my own jigs. I buy a package of unpainted jigs, pink powder coat and a package of pink hootchies. I've got nearly a hundred jigs in my tackle box that I made for around $50 total.

Skagit River boat launches
Hi, I'm planning on fishing the Skagit River for sockeye in the next few days. I've never fished the Skagit and I was wondering where I could find a boat launch. I would also appreciate any tips on what to catch sockeye on in the river. I've done well at Baker Lake so I have an idea of what to use, ...

Well, I ended up at Lk. Roesiger dropping the trap in the weeds in 3 feet of water. Needless to say I got nada. Next time I'll try a little bit deeper.

Going fishing in the morning and plan on dropping a crawdad trap, having trouble finding out what a good depth would be.
