My 2 cents on the store is other then the fish in the aq, the store is kinda lame and much more spendy then anywhere else right across I-5 sportsman wharehouse is much better. I couldnt even find any 7in plastic worms at the store and they have 4 rows of plastics! I couldnt agree with you anymore. ...

RE:Red Markings/Scars on Bass
Weird, I have been fishing Lacamas for a couple years now and I have never noticed the red mark. Did it seem to be a flesh wound? If it was a flesh wound, I doubt it was from spawning males, since bass have no teeth. I personally dont have a clue, there are blue herin that fly around the lake, but t...

MAX said.... "my friend had a very long plastic worm like lure (10-14inches) and he would reel it in just fast enough so it stayed on the top of the water and it had a great wiggle action and he always had a few follows on it but never really jhad great success." Could you possibly be talking about...

RE:Light or Heavy Line
Right now I have been using 30lb braid for my Smallies and for Sturgeon at the same time. 30lb Braid is a lethal combination for catching anything almost. Its thin like 8lb flouro and it can hold a lot of line on your reel. I recommend it.

RE:biggest fish of my life caught 6-22-08
I think it all depends on the quantity of bait u use. If you tye up a whole shad and chuck the baby out with a 8oz weight, your definitely not gonna catch a baby. My dad has actually reeled in a 16' Sturgeon up to our 16' boat. It was amazing, sad thing was, it wasnt up long enough to take a picture...

RE:Lacamas!??
2 tips - Watch out for shallow spots that look deep. Dont have your hopes up. Post a report in Clark County if you catch anything. Personally I believe Silver lake to be a better bass lake. Though, Lacamas has different terrain.

RE:bass in clark?
If you are just targeting bass and dont care about size, I would recommend using a small to medium sized Rapala Floater. I prefer Silver myself, but other colors work as well. Test out your own methods in different places. Lacamas is a hard lake to fish sometimes. I have gone days without a single b...

If you were fishing in stocked lakes like Bill Dance and Roland Martin, you would also be able to catch bass with the banjo minnow. Washington is a whole different ball game, bass are smarter and a 6lb bass is a trophy.

Sniper Snubs and Bolts on the D-Shot in Sand. I also have good success with a crankbait 7-10ft diver in either trout or craw pattern. fishnislife Oh no you didn't. You done let the cat out of the bag. :) The DS and Cranks are my strengths. We'd fish pretty good together. FishinPro, What par...

RE:Favorite Hard Baits?
My favorite Hard Bait/lure would have to be Heddons Zara Spook. I havent personally caught anything on one, but theres something about the lure that gets your heart beating faster on each cast. Probably the way the lure slices through the water, moving side to side and putting on such a life-like ap...

Hey guys, I went back out today and tried your guys advice. First cast..sure enough I was getting hammered. I actually only tried the Curly-Tailed grub this time, but yeah man they work good. Set up drop-shot with the curly-tail as the bait and reeled it in slow with the occasional twitch. Soon afte...

Took your guys advice to the river today. Tried dropshotting red worms for a while with no success. Idk if it was the color or my presentation. I do in fact have Curly Tailed grubs in Chartreuse that I had bought from a guy at Sportsmans. He said they kill smallmouth out by Joes CrabShack. I forgot ...

Thx guys, those are some great tips. I'll test out a few things and get back to you soon. Im also shore bound right now, so who knows what might happen. One thing I do know, is that Im fishing in sand and occationally the current carries my bait to the rocks. I think Im gonna try some softplastics f...

Smallie baits/lures
Hey guys, Ive recently begun to start fishing Smallmouth bass in the Columbia river. I have tried many different lures, but out of everything I have found that a simple worm and hook has worked the best. I was just wondering, what has worked the best for you? According to colors, sizes, etc. Anythin...
