Fishing Pine Lake - Sammamish

Bass in Sammamish

we went out today for smallies using drop shot off the docks. Picked up a nice 3 pound large mouth. Is that usual picking up LMB under docks? fishing line for bass fishing

I am new to bass fishing. I am addicted to SMB fishing in our local lakes. Just got my first 6.6 foot medium action rod and reel. Now my question for local bass fishing do I rig it with Mono, Flouro, or Braided? Everything I read says keep the test at about 14 pounds. Need some advice.

RE:What should be in my boat?

I have also found it helpful to have on board an extra drain plug. Once while in Chelan mine vibrated loose and I lost it. Would have been a real drag if I had to pull the boat and drive to a shop and pick up an extra.
3/4 inch brass. Can get at most hardware stores.

RE:How/where to catch perch on ake washington

have had alot of luck with drop shot and small plastics 3-4 inch Senkos.
my boys have had more luck with live bait (worms) when you get in a big school drop anchor, you won't have to leave the spot for an hour. We hooked up on 25+ that way last summer. Some can get big 1 pound or so.
