I use braid all the time for every lure 65lb test works the best for me . I don't lose any fish. So if you don't want any lures lost or even fish use the braid.

The best lure is outlawed in Wa. The reason, you might catch something!

With this kind of weather I will start this week end.

I like to see guys thinking out of the box with lures and soft baits. Keep it up Elijah this year just may be your fish of a life time catch, with your lure. I do this kind of stuff all the time to show something new to the fish and it works very well for me. Good job!

Try a dark color spinnerbait with a dark blade. Slow rolling around all the same spots your fishing. As always it's hit or miss!

The best thing I can tell ya is to match the bottom of the Lk your fishing with the same color lure. Hold on tight!

Silver not far from ya. You need a tube or small boat to get to the pigs. Not many places to bank fish. Now the water is low enough to wade? I belive the river down there has bass also. Just about every Lk in that area has bass even the small ponds off the roads. Good luck.

BRAIDED line will get your fish. Long Lk has many big fish I've had some snap off 50# braid and they were big. I now use 65# braid and have landed every fish that was hooked.
