Re: Cedar River

The river all in all has been having several projects. The fishing is alright for small trout but I believe in like 2015 or something like that they will be having sockeye salmon in the river which will be good.. But right now fishing hasn't been good at all.

Re: Puget sound mystery eel?

It does sound like a blenny - the ones I have seen all ran about 5-10 inches long - several colors, but mostly bright green (seaweed green) maybe 3/4 - 1 1/2 inches tall at the dorsal fin. some of the blennys are "amphibious"- (probably not the right word here) and can survive in wet seaweed above ...

The eel I had was not a lamprey. It looked exactly like an eel's face.

I was fishing on dashpoint beach and snagged probably the same type of eel also. I tried taking the hook out but it tried to bite lol.

Nice fish! You should shoot me a pm of where you fished. If you had the whole stretch to yourself then that's a good place.

Re: Skok

FNG at river fishing here... How is it possible that every guy down the line has a bite on every cast so much they yank their rods back with some major force? Is this what they are referring to as "Flossing"? If so, it is pretty much snagging. I did not see one fish hooked in the mouth. All fish ca...
