RE:Question about fish and game ticket!
This should be the end of this discussion I think. There is no reason to continue it.

RE:Upset
I do condone catch and release but please understand this kid is fishing and not breaking any laws. To catch that fish is something that he will remember his entire life and it may lead to a long fishing life. If someone gets interested in bass fishing and takes it serious will eventually hear the a...

RE:Duck Lake - grays harbor
I know that it has been awhile since my original post. Our two day tournament was a serious bust. Two days worth of fishing with 9 boats with 2 anglers the first day and 5 boats with 2 anglers the second day only 8 total bass were caught. The lower lake and canals has a algae bloom the likes of whic...

RE:Duck Lake - grays harbor
This used to be one of most productive lakes in the west. It's sad to see it in this state. I had talked to someone who still lives in the area and was told they are trying to make it a destination trout lake. It was awesome bass fishing before the weedkill. I really wish they would have thought thi...

Duck Lake - grays harbor
I just wanted to know how the lake is doing bass wise this year. I grew up fishing this lake however last year I fished it andthere was a serious weedkill and the bass were VERY sparse. I used to do really well there and know the water really well. I just want to know if anyone other that trout fish...

RE:Honey Holes ?
Wow what a thread. LOL. I will have to agree with Tag on his addition. I am mostly a bank fisherman and have been a proud member of the Longlake Bass Club for a quite awhile and have cultivated a number of "spots" over the years. I have seen that when I post my reports I will ocassionally see someon...

RE:well now I know why its hard to get on tournys
I've been a backseater for about 4years now. I started with joining a local bass club like has been said before. I found that it was easy enough to find a backseat when I needed one. (most of the time anyway) There are alot of open tournaments around however you will generally fish 6 or so club tour...

RE:a particular weedless worm hook
There are weedless wormhooks out there and Kevin Van Dam uses something simliar on wacky rigged worms however instead of wire he uses 50lb mono loop. I have used the weedless worm hooks when I was younger however lost interest when EWG hooks came out. Either way it's really a preference thing. Gamak...

hope you all well however bass tourneys are closely watched by WDFW. To legally put one on you must apply for the tournament for that specific lake. I don't know all the specifics but just giving you a heads up on what I know.

RE:Favorite Hard Baits?
Depends on the situation. For shallow water I use bomber Square A and 4A. I like the threadfin shad and bengal fire tiger. The Square A canactualy be fished in heavy wood and deflects off it with little effort and keeps swimming. Lipless would be the Rattl-trap in chrome and black. The DT Series fro...

RE:Favorite Soft Plastic
There are alot of plastics out there and you have to feel your way though to find out what you like to throw. Me personally, I use Net-Bait Paca Craws, The senko in red shad laminate and green pumpkin. I also use custom pured "slugs" for dropshotting. 7in power worm in motor oil or red shad. I use t...
