I actually have a lightly used Humminbird 140c Fishin' Buddy with sock (can be secured around smaller diameter tubes) for sale at a decent price I'd get rid of. Also have a lowrance elite 4x hdi brand new open box for sale as well.

Bass fishing is still the minority of income in the pnw. I wouldn't be surprised if they catered to the cold water species more like Cabelas did.

There was an article recently explaining how bass don't want move to deeper water along the bottom in a short period of time and more commonly move from their shallow depth to suspending at the same depth further out.

There are two big tournaments this month, I'm not sure there is one scheduled.

Carolina rigs are very rare in this part of the country when compared to where you're from. Dropshot and Football heads are where it's at. Looking for a light power rod with moderate action and at least 9' 6". Doesn't necessarily need to be labeled as a float rod, but it seems they will fit the bill best. Let me know what you have. Thanks!

These guys are great speakers. Not only will there be great information, but I'm betting it will be pretty entertaining as well.

fizzing needles are hollow in the middle. You also need to be able to control the amount that is released from the bladder. Don't do too much.

Also if you are going to fish deep at all and hold the fish for any period of time please learn how to fizz properly.
