Re: Juanita Bay/Forbes Creek fishing
I've been in Juanita Bay park today with my kid and saw big basses around the water vegetation very close to wooden boardwalk. Also I've seen carps from the other viewing spot. Also pretty big fish jumped out of the water feeding in vegetation. I wonder if fishing allowed in Juanita Bay park? I did...

Re: Juanita Bay/Forbes Creek fishing
I am pretty sure you can't fish from within the park at Forbes Creek, but I am sure it's OK from the water.fishingmachine wrote:I know part of juanita bay is a bird sanctuary if i remember correctly that is closed to boats and fishing

Juanita Bay/Forbes Creek fishing
Has anyone ever bass fished in Juanita Bay, near the Forbes Creek park? There's alot of vegetation and submerged pilings between the park (proper) and the Forbes Creek "boardwalk". I live near the park, but never see any boats fishing in the area.
Thanks,
Patrick
Thanks,
Patrick

Fall fishing tips (bass)
Novice angler looking for a few tips for the fall. Of specific interest is the current weather pattern (cooler days after a string of hot ones, overcast, 60s, shorter days)... I have read some articles, but wonder if they are more for anglers in southern states. Anyways, any tips are appreciated. Th...

RE:Vehicle break-ins at boat launch
I am sorry to hear about your break in. I think you did just about everything I and most of us would have done. I have one added thing I do of the things on your list and that as I am walking away from the vehicle I will find a hiding spot and wait up to 15-20 minutes to see if anything happens. I ...

RE:Vehicle break-ins at boat launch
If there is a problem area, I don't go there. I am out to fish and have fun, not to orchestrate a sting operation. To sit in my boat and wonder if my belonging are going to be stolen takes up too much energy and I'd rather think about something other than being ripped off. A. Actually, the "sting" ...

RE:Vehicle break-ins at boat launch
Why doesnt PD do a sting when they get a few breakin reports? Just set up a dummy car and then nab the idiots. They do it with car prowlers in the streets, so why not at the launches? get them off the street. I am sure the cities and counties don't have the staff or funding. Sheesh, WSP just shut d...

RE:Vehicle break-ins at boat launch
Just a thought... I have Sentry software for my PC. It senses movement and records audio and video. Also picking up a home security system. I wonder how hard it would be to install a compact embedded controller and some cameras in the truck. If a break in does occur, then at least you have evidence...
