Hit the water early when you get a chance to get out. Lots of people flock to every open piece of water in the afternoon early evening!

Blue stilly, the bridge by the town tavern in Silvana and haller park just out of down town Arlington are my top three easiest fishing spots. Great places to also start with little knowledge of the river. Matt knows all the good spots though! LOL

You will know when you mass loads of cars parked near the water that's when it's humpy season! But as far as I know it's September first! And anything pink works corkie and yarn or jig and bobber

I have just abu garcia bc and it seems to be working really well for me. I never thought about sitting on the couch and practicing that's a good call might have to try that when its a bit cold out

I have been out almost everyday and kinda getting the feel for it! its alot harder then some people make it out to be. i think i will still pack my spinning combo in the truck with me when i head to the river next. thanks for the help guys! good luck:salut:

I am looking for the best call that i can buy for a reasonable price. I currently use old faithful but its just that... old the reads are starting to go and would like to just buy a whole new one. any info on calls would be great thanks!

i have a seven foot rod and i want an 8'6 or 9 but im stuck with this one till i can purchase a new one. so i guess i will just have to play around with different weights till i find one that works!

Isolating an electical short....

Hey all, been having a world of problems with the electrical system on my new boat. Its a sled with a Yami 115 o/b jet. The controls, motor, and guages are all Yami parts and are all wired up together. A couple weeks ago I was having problems getting the starter to kick over and isolated the problem...

1/4 oz jigs are coho slayers. No bobber, no weight just a jig. I have found that jigs with really long tails that almost pulsate through the water work the best.
