I put my fingers through both sides of the gills and pull the head all the way back towards the back of the fish quickly... snapping the neck. then throw the fish on ice til we go to shore for a rest stop. then clean the fish while waiting on fishing buddy to get back from the bathroom, outhouse or ...

What is your favorite rod and reel setup that you have? I have several...depending on what I'm doing. I bought almost every type of Fenwick Legacy pole.... that they made for trout, bass and steelhead back in the day. I love the Legacy rods!~ I like using Shimano Stradic spinning reels...1000, 2000...

I fished the snoqualmie last sunday with no luck. I need to find more lures that will help me out. Does anybody have any suggestions. I have tried the Skykomish, Snohomish and the Snoqualmie so far this year...caught a few nice trout but my focus is steelhead! The Snoqualmie has selective gear rule...

Take the kids up to Jake's pond... This pond is full of Cutthroat trout... one exit just above Issaquah on I-90. From Seattle you take the Highpoint exit... Exit 20, I believe. Stay to the right...do not go left back under I-90. Take the first left...and park near the metal gate, the road is blocked...

I sorta had my mind set on one of the Snoqualmie forks, but I will travel within 50 miles of Redmond. I have read books about steelhead, but I just need some real-person experience about where on a river to fish and bait etc. The forks of the Snoqualmie are a no go... as there is no Steelhead above...

My best friend caught a 9 1/2 pound Large Mouth out of Beaver Lake trolling a dick nite.

I've caught many trolling...
close to shore with dick nites, gold hot shots and wedding rings with worms.
