I would try the back side of the big island down towards eriksons. It's a steep bank with rocks.

Kapowsin is a tuff lake at times, it's hot or it's not. Fish are always late to get going on this lake.

Large and smallmouth are there, I have seen them, And even caught one. I'm no expert by any means, But this lake is on my list this year.
