This 58 acre springfed reservoir is located about two miles southeast of the community ofSummer Lake and about five miles north of Summer Lake. Although producing some big rainbows, the lake is now more known for the outsize hybrid bass. Ana’s state record hybrids started at 15 pounds four ounces, to 16-13, 17-2, 18-8,18-8 all the way up to the current record holder, an 18 pound nine and a half ounce lunker. Undoubtedly, even larger hybrids would be caught if they had a larger lake to hide in. The lake is open all year and there is a limit of one hybrid bass per day which must be 16-inches in length or longer. Largemouth bass are now present in Ana. P Heley
